Here's the deal. My Sis-in-law has a JVC vhs camcorder (GR-SXM730) that is using a serial port connection (rs232-COM1) to hook up to her camcorder (mini din plug) to get the camcorder and PC to talk which they will not. Do they make such a thing as a USB to mini din adapter cable?

PC is a dell dimension 4300, P4 1.7 G running XP with a GeForce 2 MX400 vid card. No matter what I cannot get these two to talk, I have the com port turned in the BIOS and have tried using several different video capture softwares but no luck.
