I am having trouble loading office home and student 2007 in Windows 7

Hello,
my office home and student 2007 installation keeps getting interupted with an error message on my windows 7 computer.
what should I do it locks up and stops working and I have to start over again with tghe same error message. the product key is correct but no installation . anyone got any suggestions?

what exactly does the error msg say? is it the typical "encountered an error and needs to close" or is it a program specific error?
