Has anybody used this little interface? Seems like a very cool little 2
track interface, but I know very little about it.

How does it sound? How are the drivers?

I use it primarily for my home computer though I have taken it out with my
laptop a few times. Sounds great, headphone amp is great. No issues with
drivers on the PC side of things. For my home computer I use it as a total
interface for everything. I use the headphone output to feed my Hafler
powered monitors and the RCA outputs feed a line run from my office to my
home theater area which in turn feeds speakers throughout the house so I can
listen to any computer audio anywhere. I also have a return from my home
theater running into it so I can listen to my television while computing
etc. I have a nice 48 volt condenser mic on a boom arm at my computer for VO
and conferencing and the mic pre works very well. I've looked at many of the
other similar units but this one just seems to do everything I need very
well and I can and have used it in the field a couple of times for a
recording with great results.

Thanks Charles- This is the kind of info I was looking for.

Have you ever used the pres for music work? I'm looking for an interface
for my laptop that I can use for my smaller gigs when I don't want to bring
the whole bit DAW rig out into the field. Much will be for my location
interview recording, but I'd also like to have the option of plugging my
stereo mic into it and doing my quick documentary 2 mic recordings using it.
Or going in on the line ins and using it as my backup recorder.

You won't be disappointed. Quality of the preamps and the headphone amp are
superb. This is a very nice sounding and quiet unit.
