Hi all,
I have been flying MSFS since the 98 version, everytime
going through all the lessons. On my current MSFS2004pro,
I find it pretty hard to satisfy Mrs. Martha King's
criteria for the IFR checkride... much harder than before
(ie 2002pro). I am ALWAYS 'send home' after the missed
approach, being told the criteria I missed (speed,
altitude, heading, vert.speed... almost everything )
Additionally, checking the flight analysis, my
flighttrack is NEVER on the planned route, but always
right of it. Even if I am pretty darn sure I kept my NAV1
alligned with the SEA 338°. I tend to check the NAV more
than the Heading, as I believe there is a crosswind
blowing. Also, there are two maps available, both stating
different VOR appr. (338° vs. 341°) and different
holdings (none, apparently SEA vs. ANVIL).
Has the bar been put up? Which map is used? Anyone
experienced the same?? Can this be a bug (or is it just
my skills ;-) )???
