My friend ( a non high-end gamer) needs a gaming Laptop/Notebook with buget $1,000 - $1,350. Unfortunatly while surfing the Alienware, Dell and Toshiba site and other websites (similar to newegg but sell in the uk ) i wasn't so convinced in terms of harware since lack of info.. And now i decided to ask the Experts on this forum

1)Any particular Models?

2)Buy a prebuild notebook or a tailor made one ( buy the parts and assemble it ) ? Any particular websites to purchase the harware?(Shipping must me available to Europe)

3) what u think about 5400rpm Notebook Sata HDD ? are there other better ones? ( websites mentioned lack info like hdd cache/model/manufacturer)

4) ayone can guide me on the graphic card

thanks

Is that 1,000-1,350 Euros or Dollars?

I would get at least an x1600 video card for gaming, and if you can, go with a 7,200 rpm hard drive. It really does make a huge difference.
