OK so I don't know much about LCDs and I'd need some help. I've got a Sharp LLT19D1 monitor and today a red vertical line stretching from the top to the bottom of the screen has appeared. What should I do? Does that mean that my monitor has to be replaced?
thx

You pretty much sumed it up. Time for replacement. That is the major downfall of lcds, the chance of dead/tweaked pixels. I'm not sure about the warranties now days but it used to be that a certain percentage of the screen had to be dead to replace it. If they say more of it has to die that can probably be arranged
