Unable to connect to Internet after downloading iLivid

Hello, i tried to install ilivid to downloads some music and now cannot connect to the internet. Having done an avg scan it found faxcool.exe and moved it to the virus vault. However i can still not connect to the internet or any network. I bought my pc a few months ago refurbished off a private seller with Windows 7 installed on it.

i am guessing you got the dns changer malware they have been talking about

uninstall ilivid (and any wares that came with it, such as IE toolbars) and restart, if that doesn't work then do a system restore to last point before you installed ilivid.

can't say if ilivid is reputable since i've never heard of it, but many of these downloading apps are malware or hijackers.

Thanks for the replies but it turns out that 3 has had a mast down in my area so it is all working fine now!! And i am being compensated which is a miracle!!
