I predict in 2-3 years, the Windows rubbish will be replaced by the
much better LINUX, because Windows and DOS rubbish attracts so many
virus and worm - programs , that it becomes useless.

So throw away the Microsoft rubbish and get LINUX !

I do not think that microsoft is doomed, just going to be less used. With
the crackers, windows has not been a really secure O/S for many years. The
problem I see is that the file system does not hold file premisions. The best
you can do is 'encrypt' it. Second, it is based on all previous windows
systems that where relient on DOS. With the exeption of the mouse, the way
windows did multi-tasking was to let the program have full control of the
system untill it gave it back to windows. How can you put security or
stabibility into that? Linu distros with the exeption of lindows, does not
give full machine premissions to the regular user. If something is needed to
be done with the root premissions, the user can just type them. Anything
running within the regular account cannot do much more than make a mess of
things in their own little home thing. Preset programs cannot be infected
because they are in a root write-only part of the file system.
