i think microsoft quit making sidewinders all together.
but a search on yahoo produced this

The Sidewinder range of products has been discontinued. My left handed
friend in Cornwall, UK uses a Saitek joystick. You might want to go to your
local PC store where they have a good range and 'play' with a few to see
which suits you best.
