Mic driver hp dv9910us

If you're referring to the built-in microphone, I would try installing the driver for your webcam from HP's website.

If you're using an external mic or headset I would make sure you have you sound card drivers installed, available at HP's site.

If you're mic is USB and/or you have a USB headset then you may have to go to the manufacturer's website and download the appropriate drivers from there.

When I go to HP's website, and enter my dv9910us model, their first question is what operating system do I have? The only choice in their drop menu is Vista, I guess since that's what the laptop came with. When I click on the link that says something like, "If you do not see your operating system..", their message is that if you don't see your operating system, HP doesn't have or support the drivers for other than what is listed. So I don't even get to the point of selecting the device.

Other thoughts?
