Configuration pc to tv hdmi

Hello,
i have a problem, recently i n¡bought a hdmi cable, and i connected to my Sony bravia LCD, but it looks terrible, very small, pixeled and blurry.
My graphics card is a amd hd 6870.

whats the screen size of the LCD screen? You may find that it will look bad if you dont run the native resolution on the LCD TV. Is it 720P or 1080P?

Yep, need to know the screen size and is it full HD 1080p? I've also got a Sony 1080p 32 inch on my pc and it looks amazing, billions times better than a pc monitor

i think is 23". And yes is full HD, but at any resolution it looks really bad... actually i use the vga@1366*768
