Desktop folder missing

Hello, my windows 7 is working fine except there is no desktop folder.

Go to C:\Users\{userID}. Right-click on {UserID} (which is your account name), and select "Restore previous versions." Then double-click your account folder(s) in the window that opens. You may see the desktop folder listed; if you do, restore it or copy it out. If you see it listed in more than one folder, choose the one with the most recent date.

hidden? enable show hidden folders.

It could be that you have hidden all your desktop items.

•Right-click the desktop, point to View, and then click Show desktop icons
