Need some help here!

Do you guys think that a AMD Turion MT-37 will work in this laptop?

Just curious...my rents just bought me this laptop without me knowing and I thought I would put a bit better proc in it!

Laptop: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/ [...] uter_store
New processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819103005

P.S. The stats that I will have are not the basic ones on the site...it has a Turion ML-34, 1gb of ram, 80gb Hard Drive, A/B/G wireless + bluetooth card in it so really the only thing that I need up upgrade is the proc! Not just for the 200mhz, but also for the thermal spec of 25w instead of 35w (less heat and better battery life correct?)

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would say yes, the only laptop I have ever heard of having a problem was the last edition of hte ACER Ferarri that did not like to accept the MT-40 because it originally came with an ML-37.
