Suck or Blow?

Hi all,

I have read that when you have two case fans for every inlet fan have an outlet fan - fine.

But what if I wanted to add just a singular fan? I have just inserted my new fan - it is extracting air. Is the other way more efficient for heat reduction?

The question is should it suck or blow air into/out of my PC, or does it not matter?

Thanks.

Just use it as an exhaust fan.

Yeah use it as exhaust... getting rid of the hot air is most important, the cool air will get into the case through small ventilation holes.

But if you have a dual-fan PSU you can better use the fan as intake.

My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole

Thanks guys,

I took my old fan out and replaced it with a "quiet" one - my PC no longer sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

Thanks for the help.
