I need some options here. I assembled my computer a couple years ago, it has a MicroStar K7 MasterS (ms-6341)MB in it. I think that is the major bit of info that is needed. I bought a FujiFilm Finepix 3800 digital camera and thought I could just go out and get a USB PCI card for this thing and all would be well with the world. I did that and all is not well. The USB Hub won't install the driver.......if fact in System (under My Computer),in the Device Manager, under USB Root Hub properties, it has the message "The NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (Code 2) I went to the Windows.com info dump page and found that this message means I need a more up to date BIOS. So, I get the most recent one (2001 or 2002) and flash the BIOS....it looked like all would work, but it doesn't. It just keeps trying to load what it wants to load and not what I want it to load, which is my Fuji USB driver. How can I get around this without buying a new MB? This MB has an optional USB connector for the front panel. If I look at the MB there are pins in that space, but no jumpers on them. What are my options (seriously)? I just want to be able to get the pics off my camera???????
