Hello, in April I bought a new computer. This is the first time I have used Windows 7 OS. I am wondering if I am having issues connecting to the internet bc of Windows 7. Another computer in the house uses Vista and has no problems. My computer is constantly "not responding". What do I need to do? Should I download a different OS. I can't think of anything else it could be. Thank you.

when your web browser says "not responding" its because of just that, the browser itself is not responding. It has nothing to do with your internet connection.

What do you mean by download a different OS?

Hi

With problem like that

I would

1 - Do all updates
2 - Scan for virus / malware (use malware bytes, kapersky online scan )
3 - Scan disk for errors

If all this fails: it might be an hardware issue ( memory, cpu, mobo overheating)

What your computer specs, how much memory you have...
