I have an WD Caviar 20G HD that was burned by my screwy
PSU. I had alot of important and personal unbackuped
(duh!) data.
Is there any way I can revive this disc?
It doesnt get recognized by the bios at all

I don't think there is much you can do for yourself on this one.

The only place I would suggest is "ontrack.com".

I have had them retrieve data before, of the 4 data retrieval services I have used they seem to be by far the best equipped.

Of course, the data needs to be real important because they do charge.

I think it's about $300 to start, and goes up from there.
(you will need to call them to verify.)

Good Luck,
Jim

I was speaking with someone over the phone and he told he once contacted a data recovery company and was asked to pay $2200 if they succeed in recovering the data and they failed.
