I switched to XP when Tascam announced PCI-822 drivers for that OS.
The 1st version didn't work at all. The latest version will pass
clean audio BUT the output timing is much slower than under Win 98.
Worst of all, no 2 pairs of tracks ever align properly with any other
pair during tansfer from DTRS to computer. The differences change
with every pass, making it impossible to correct via software. I
have 2 different PCI-22 cards. 3 different machines, and 2 different
TDIF cables. The problems are the same regardless of equipment
combinations. Any ideas out there?

Can you merge "files"?

The idea being that you import two tracks, name and save them as file A, create two new tracks as a
different file, name and save as file B, etc. Then merge the four/eight/twelve/sixteen files into one.

Your Software cannot "time align" them? or you cannot snip and tuck "lead" time before the music
starts so they'll sync up? Ugh!

Well, that's my suggestion, if it will work.
