I recently updated my XP operating system. After trying
to take a flight I receive the Error message: "Third-
party software detected. May not be compatable. Do you
wish to load software . . Yes or No." The error
identified was 'traffic.dll'. Whether you select yes or
no it would not load. It is found only in FS2002cfg and
in windows\system32. I reinstalled the program thinking
that if would solve the problem. It did not. I used the
suggested fix in my "read me" file. That did not solve
the problem. Is there a fix?

The problem comes from the service pack installing another dll file
name traffic.dll that has nothing to do with FS (network purposes
AFAIK). You should try renaming the traffic.dll file in the
windows\system32 subfolder and make sure the one in the FS folder
remains active...
