There's something you don't see every day; a used AT4050 for sale.

Hey, I'm headed for Halifax in August. Any studios worth looking into up
there?

Regards,

Good Gawd -- on purpose?! Why?!

No wonder you lot (USAmericans) think we lot (Canadiots) say things like
"aboot." You're visiting the one part of the country where they do.
Frankly, the rest of us wish they wouldn't. Most of the time we can't
understand a damn thing they're saying. Not that it matters, really.
It's invariably something about fish.

Full Compass has some, though they don't quote a price on the website.
Apparently they were used for the Grammy presentation. I've been tempted
to pick up a pair, but alas there's no money to do that right now. (And
my oldest has just one more year of highschool, so it's only going to get
worse!)

Yeah there are a few nice studios around here. I'm talking a Recording
Arts program right now till the end of September. Send me an email as
your trip approaches and I can show you around the Sonic Temple
(http://www.thesonictemple.ca/).

I was stocking up on mics with figure-8 patterns at the time, as I was about
to record a bluegrass band with everyone playing and singing at once.
