How does the double-channel ram memory works? does it requires a special type of DDR 400? i ask this because i bought a Asus A7N8X deluxe and i am about to buy one or two 512Mb DDR 400Mhz and don't know how to put the ram in double-channel mode, please can somebody help me?

First, it's called Dual Channel and not Double Channel
I don't have a nForce2 based mobo, so I never used that. Most of my friends buy nForce2 mobo, I saw it several time
there are actually 3 memory slots (more or less? not sure) where one will be different color, they told me that one is the primary one, you put one Ram into that slot, then another identical ram into the other slots
Boot computer, there goes your Dual Channel

No special memory needed. It just utilizes two channels on your mobo. Just put em in there like it says.
