I am looking into getting a small cheap laptop. Mostly for internet use in the living room and kitchen, and using as a photo album. Plus, I would like to bring it to work and watch DVDs on it. That is about it.

I have a high end gaming rig as a desktop, so I will not be putting any files on the laptop besides photos.

I do not want to spend more than $550. As of now I have been looking at the Dell Inspiron B130 with the 14.1" screen and a upgrade to 512Mb of memory for $490.

Anything out there cheaper or comparable?

Compaq, HP. Check around. Tigerdirect has had some listed in your price riange. Best Buy ,Circuit City.
