I know this most likely isn't the place to ask, but I figured I'd get a get response....Anyway, is it possible to build your own Laptop? Is it cost effective? I build my own desktop computers, but was wondering if building your own laptop is possible? If so, is it difficult, or basically the same as building a desktop?

In advance, thanks for the info..

well my guess is it would be a bitch to get at the parts first off, second your not likely to find a case for it but i may be wrong

You could purchase a "Barebone" laptop. It would include everything except the memory, hard drive, and CPU. You would not be able to choose the video card or motherboard since they are kinda included in the "Barebone" kit. Just make sure you get the kit with the type of video you want.
