This copy of windows is not genuine.

Hello,
My Laptop DELL pc shows the option on the desktop that "windows 7, Build 7601, this copy of windows is not genuine." How can I solve this problem?

Contact the store you bought it from or as above suggested contact Dell

you need to purchase and install a genuine copy of the OS, from Dell or MS.
We will not provide workaround solutions on this forum.

Well if you have the genuine Windows 7 licence key sticker on there it may be worth a call to Microsoft, if everything is legit they can activate.
