Mouse Sticking- BEHAVING BADLY!

hi all,

this is my problem. My computer is in a room which gets hot this time of the year. the past few days, my mouse has been acting so crazy that using the machine is absurd. It sticks, it moves up when i say move right, u know what i mean? My athlonXp 1700+ is running at aroun 42-48 celcius (maximum) and i think that is fine. i dont know if its the mouse or the machine? what can i do???

Here was somebody with similar problems recently. Hope there are ideas you can use.

At the risk of mentioning the obvious, if it's a ball-mouse, you've cleaned it....right?

Cleaning is important, or just get a trackball, must easier to clean and faster to use.
