I have an ATI card and ran into the problem with counterstrike overflowing. I got the patch to fix this but I don't know where to install the stupid patch! I tried the HL dir and the Cstrike dir to no avail. It creates a folder named FAIL and I just don't know where to put it.. thanks for any help!!

Assuming you have the default install directory, Install it to c:\sierra\half life (the place the patch says when you open it). It is not just a problem with CS, but Half Life in general.
