What quality mics use electrets instead of voltage charging?
I won't attempt to define "quality."

Thanks,

Well, the first decent ones were the Shure SM-81s.... Shure did a really
nice job of designing clean and stable electret elements that didn't leak
the way most of thier competitors did. All of the Shure condensers are
still electret designs as far as I know.

The DPA recording series microphones are electrets. That's probably the
best example. The new AKG 451 reissues are electrets.

The Sennheiser MKH-series microphones aren't either electret or voltage
charged capsules, but a wacky RF discriminator circuit. If you are looking
for electret mikes because of humidity problems, they do just as well.

What about some of the Audio Technica microphones, like the AT4033?

AKG C4000 is electret, and is less offensive than it's lesser electret
cousins.

The Sony ECM377 looked like the Sony C37, but was an electret.
