New system?

Alright I'm building a new sys and I've got

Asus A7N8X-Deluxe board
OC'ed 2500+ Barton AMD
Radeon 9500 Pro

Now I plan on playing alot of games and what not, is it worth the money to go 1GB of RAM or should I be happy with 512MB?

If you can afford it, I would go ahead and get 1gb. However, as far as I know you need WinXP to benefit from more than 512mb. If you are using Win98 I'd stick to 512mb.

my experience is that, more ram in winxp makes games and apps loads faster, but dosnt necessarily contribute towards framerate. you might get an extra 2 or 3 frames, hardly noticable.
