I recently switched from a PC to a Mac; I heard that my iHP-120 would
be compatible (though I'd lose the database function, no biggie).

However, I'm having problems. I just converted a few files to MP3 with
iTunes and loaded them successfully onto the jukebox. However, none of
them will play, and all of them come up on the iRiver with "._" before
the file names on the jukebox even though they show up with normal
filenames both on the Mac and on the Finder view of the jukebox
listings.

Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong??

Thanks in advance.

For one thing, you need to put the files in the root directory (or a
user-created directory under the main directory(. If you put them in one of
the existing, iRiver-created lower directories, they won't play.

I've been putting them in directories I created, alongside other MP3s
transferred from a Windows computer, which play fine; the files
converted by and transferred from the Mac are still not playing...
