accelerator hardware

We had the train simulator downloaded on our computer and
was working find. Computer crash and now get error
meassage that says: need accelerator hardware, what do I
need to add. I have direct x 9.0 but that doesn't help.
Any information will be appreciated. Thanks.

try updating video drivers.
