Display wuxga 17 inch Ultrasharp truelife

I Bought a Inspiron 9400/e1705 winxp home
Its a Intel core duo 2.0 Ghz
1gb ram
256Mb ATI Radeon X1400
Wfi minicard b/g 3945
Display wxga 17 inch Ultrasharp Truelife

Both has:
100gb 5400rpm HDD
dvd/rw


And i cant decide witch i should keep .
Im gonna be using it for graphic design
like openning mutiple 20-30 mbs photoshop/Macromedia fireworks fileS
Macromedia flash animations
and i also play battlefield2 and counter strike/cz on it
i cant decide witch of them will be fast for editing my files, cuz sometimes on my xps when i open alot os iE and 3, -5 macromedia fireworks files it kind gats slow for editing and minimizing everything
