Hi, i just bought a logitech dual optical mouse. Its pretty kool and everything, but i just wanted to know whether anyone thinks its better to run a fast mouse on the PS/2 port or off USB, coz i dont have a clue. Thanx guys.

Without making manual changes, the sampling rate of the PS/2 port is 40Hz, compared to 125Hz for the USB port. I have two of these mice, and I prefer the USB port.

I'd also skip installing the Logitech drivers, and just use the default Microsoft drivers for the best results. You may not have all the fancy button assignments that come with the Logitech software, but there are less issues, especially in games, as the Logitech drivers are often buggy.
