I'm looking for a monitor in the 17' range (19' are damn expensive!) with good colour rendering, mainly for movies...anyone can suggest a model?
I do play videogames but I'm no hardcore gamer so the ghosting effect is not too much of an issue. Furthermore as I have read the Hydis panel doesn't reproduce true blacks, which makes for example the Acer 1731 only "almost" perfect.
The new shuttle xp17 is damn good looking but it's only 6-bit per channel so I don't think I will go for it...and I just wonder why THG didn't talk about that in the new review...

Anyone can help?
