Long story short....
I have a Sony Vaio that is running XP Pro/Svc Pack 1 and
the Wireless Update Service Pack. I am trying to connect
the wireless MN-720 to the MN-700 router. The desktop
connected to the router works fine.
On the laptop, I can establish network connectivity and
can ping www.yahoo.com and the desktop, but can't browse
with IE. Also, the properties for the laptop doesn't have
the "Wireless Networks" Tab... according to the
KnowledgeBase, the Wireless Zero Connection service needs
to be running. However, I can't start it - I get Error
1075, saying that "The dependency service does not exist
or has been marked for deletion." The only shown
dependency is RPC, and it's running fine.
Any ideas around this? Thanks very much in advance!
