I had a problem.I just purchase a new samsung dvd-rw combo
which is my master drive & my TDK cd-rw as my slave drive but i can only boot from my slave drive but not from my DVD-RW drives can anyone pls tell me why ?

Made sure the new Samsung drive is on the boot sequence in your BIOS?

Both your optical drives should be in IDE2, not with the harddrive IDE1. And set the DVD-ROm as master.
