When I try to upgrade from 98SE To ME, computer freezes during the 1st setup wizard, I mean 80% of my screen goes black and locks, Anyone help with this one?

Don't upgrade, format your drive and do a clean install. You'll thank me later.

I think so, you just need the Win98 CD to show you have proof of ownership when it asks for it.

It will ask you for it. You'll just have to insert the Win98 CD when it asks, and then you're done.

Before you upgrade did you run system checker,RegScan and scan disk?
