Change my Notebook's processor !!!! I need Help

First, I would thank u guys to visit my trouble...
I own a Hp L2000 (special edition), Notebook w/ Turion 37 inside, working at 2.0Ghz, my question is: Can I upgrade the processor up to a Turion 42 or 44... Both works at 2.4Ghz, I'm not sure if the BIOS will recognize the new processor speed... So, Any help is welcome... Thank u one more time...
