if your trying to put the factory image back on the hard drive at boot you hit a set of keys now to start the restore from a hidden partion on your hard drive. look at your owners guild and the boot screen most time it one of the f keys (10-11)
if you do run the restore you lose all the data that on the drive now. if the unit has no restore image or you blew it away..
you have to find a windows cd or windows iso image and reinstall from a cd or usb stick...if you have no cash then windows 8 beta the only free legal download right now.
