How come they dont make any silver/aluminum colored drives? Many new cases now are silver in color yet i cant seem to find a single silver colored drive, except one sony that looked kind of silver but it was 100$ for a dvd drive. I hope lite on starts to make some silver colored ones soon.

www.harddrive.com has color components (including silver Liteon CDRW's). Don't see any silver DVD writers or DVD/CDRW drives though.

Bezels and draw faces are removable from CDROMs/DVDROMs/CDRWs (at from all of mine they are).

Check around. Some places sell replacement bezels and draw faces in various colors but they are usually for very specific drive models.

You could also paint your own.

It's tricky removing the parts but not too bad.
