mn730 does not connect to network

I have a belkin f5d6231 router and a laptop with a
wireless card that works fine. I got a mn730 that I
installed on a win2k box- I followed the instructions,
have cordless phones unplugged, router is next to box.
SSid and wep is correct,reset my router several times- but
the mn730 will not connect to the router. The little
light on the back is blinking and I cannot find any info
on that- "make sure the light is on steady"- but gives no
help if it is not. PLz help
