I just bought Halo, and I am kinda mad.

It continually crashes my computer.

I upgraded HALO to v1.05 from the support page, and it did
not help.

Here is my computers config:
OS: Windows 2000 SP 4
Directx : 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902)
Processor: AMD Athlon 2600+
RAM: 512 MB
Motherboard: ECS L7S7A2
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
Display drivers: 6.14.0010.6177 (English)

Any Ideas?

Thanks

-Mike

what is the cpu temperature when it crashes? I noticed my games
seriousely slows down in the area after I get beamed up into the ship.

Normal temp. I play many other graphics & cpu intesive
games and have never had a problem. I actually do
numerical analysis on my machine (which puts the CPU usage
to 100% for hours, sometimes days, on end, and it never
blue-screens)

I believe that all of the blue screen are caused by the
nvida driver dll. I have the latest-greatest from nvida
(61.77)

Anyone else have problems with this? Should I downgrade
my driver?

if the the old driver didn't give you problems, it might be worth a try.
