I'm currently buying a new computer.
I've chosen the motherboard ASUS P4P800 Deluxe and the CPU Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz Boxed PC800.
What I was wondering was about wich RAM to chose?
I was thinking about this two:

- TwinMOS PC3700 DDR-DIMM 512MB CL2.5 or
- TwinMOS PC3200 DDR-DIMM 512MB Dual Pack (2x256)

Should I chose the one below and go for Dual DDR RAM or just go for the one with PC3700 CL2,5.

What's the best with/withouth overclocking?

you do not need matched memory sticks to run dual channel...you need sticks of the same brand and model...i would however recomend running dual channel because this is the only way you can fully take advantage of a p4's fsb bandwith while still using ddr.

There is no smell better than fried silicon

Yes, PC 3700 is only usefull if you plan to overclock your your FSB to something around 466mhz instead of 400. I suggest you take advantage of the dual channel since it will probably bring you more performance then from overclocking. And yes you need 2 sticks to run dual channel so go with the twin pack
