I'm new to 2K and was wondering how to change the Autoexec in this OS

There isn't one. What exactly do you want to change?

There is one, but you shouldn't need to use it. It's in the root dir, Autoexec.NT and you'll have to enable hidden system files to see it.

I need to add a path in it for my C++ compiler to work. It's DJGPP.

control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables -> system variables -> path -> edit

"autoexec.nt" and "conifg.nt" are only used to initiate the ntvdm environment.

i found autoexec.bat and config.sys hidden in my root directory. they were completely empty files however.
