I bought the Gigabyte 8KNXP, and I am considering also buying a Soundblaster Audigy 2 as well.

How does the onboard sound compare to the Soundblaster Audigy 2? Should I spend the extra money on a dedicated sound board or just use the onboard Sound card

Also, what is the advantage of having a dedicated sound board as opposed to the onboard sound card?
