I have been looking for a 15 inch laptop for gaming with core 2 duo and a 7900+.

All I can find is the Geforce Go 7600 for that size of laptop.

I am starting to think there are packaging problems (heatsink) with getting the 7900/7950 into a package that small or there is no market for a 15inch laptop that powerful.

Places I've tried:
Alienware,Dell,Falcon,Sager,Sony,Voodoo,Toshiba


Any help finding a 15inch laptop with a 7900 or better would be appreciated.

ya, it doesn't exist yet. Some companies even underclock the 7600/x1600 to avoid heat build up..some also don't and sell you a fry pan of a laptop. If you have your heart set on the 7900/7800 you'll need a 17" lappy

The card won't fit in the 15" chassis because of the additional heat sink and fan required for such a beast video card. I think you are going to have to moce up to the 17" to get what you are looking for.
