2700 or 3200

I am looking at picking up a Asus A7N8X Deluxe and a AMD XP 2600 at 333MHZ. Would I be better off with 2700 or 3200 RAM?

2700 if you do not plan to overclock

3200-3500 if you do plan to overclock

3700 and beyond....save your money...not worth it...pc3500 can clock to those speeds anyway...

So easy to fry yet tastes so good...

if u are buying 2700, just don't buy those cheap ram that can only do 3-3-3-6..

Ya 3200 give you more flexibility if you plan to overclock/change processor in the future. Also CL2 DDr400 will run with really smooth timmings once underclocked at DDR333...

3200 all the way!!! Thus allowing you to pump that cpu clock speed to 200mhz (400mhz FSB pc3200).

Well I have Kingston HyperX PC2700 and I overclocked my FSB to 230 and it held it after i push Vdimm to 2.8 and Timing to 2.5-3-3-6 instead of 2-2-2-5.

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2645mhz. My Radeon 9700pro core/mem speed won't go above 410/720. I really hate computers!

PC3200 a.k.a DDR400. make sure u buy 2 identical sticks to make the most of ur mobo.
