battery life on HP dv6000t?

I've searched the internet everywhere and can't seem to draw a conclusion of the DV6000t's battery life with the 6 cell battery, let alone the 12 cell. Iv'e heard people say with the DV5000t 12 cell battery they could get up to 7 hours of life (unfortunately HP no longer offers the dv5000t). I have only found 3 reviews for the dv6000t with two saying that they got 2 1/2 hours with a six cell and another saying they got 3 hours 40 mins (didn't specify the size on this review! I hope it wasn't the 12 cell!). If I multiply the 2 1/2 hour results by 2 (for a 12 cell battery), then same configuration that gave us 7 hours of life on the dv5000t should give me around 5 hours max with the dv6000t. This would suck and doesn't make since to me. I'm wondering if it's because these reviews used the core 2 duo as opposed to the core duo. I didn't think it took that much more power though. I plan on sticking with regular core duo. If anybody here has a dv6000t with a 12 cell battery I'd REALLY REALLY appreciate it if you could tell me what kinda life it gets because i'd like to order a laptop nov 2nd and battery life is important to me. (unfortunately im on a budget too and this seems best for the money)
