I have read the reviews for the 17" LCD monitors but after the 6th review it became fuzzy which monitor was the best for gaming. I am looking to replace my old view sonic ps790 with a new LCD but I am not sure which one is the best out of all of them. Like I said I want it for gaming so its color and refresh rates have to be good. I am not very knowledgeable in this area so any help would be much appreciated.

p.s. I was thinking of getting the prophet view 920DVI

I think the ViewSonic VP-171b is the best 17 incher on the market currently. This depends alot on price range obviously. It's currently $505 US with free shipping over at NewEgg.
