I've just discovered that my Clie is going on by itself in the middle of
the night. I think it's going on and off several times. I've left it
connected to the charger in my bedroom. If I wake up during the night, the
Clie is usually on, glowing brightly in the corner of the room. I don't
have any alarms set during the night, and there's no alert on the screen
when I check it.
Any idea what might be causing this? Do others have this problem?

Try going to www.1src.com and search the Sony/TH55 forum. There
has been a lot of discussion on this. I've never had the problem so I
didn't pay that much attention, but the problem for a lot of people was
an early version of Verichat. Do you have Verichat installed?

Thanks. I don't have Verichat, but I'll take a look.

I've only gotten it recently. I'm pretty impressed so far, but I wish I
had time to read the manuals to find out how everything works.
