Only if you plan on overclocking and a lot. You'll have to get your FSB to 250 in order to use the memory at 500MHZ. The problem with memories with really high frequencies is that they usualy have terrible timings. It's true that the frequency is a lot more important than the timings but you probably won't use this memory at 500MHZ and you'll just be stuck with bad timings.
One thing you can do is underclock the memory down to 466MHZ or 433MHZ (depends on how much you overclock) and enhance the timings, but this also isn't a very good idea becuase since the PC4000 modules are very similar to the PC3700 modules (they are clocked higher and have worse timings) you'll be paying more and getting a PC3700 (DDR466) stick.
